Therrien Waddell takes on Cancer by Participating in Relay For Life
On May 31, 2008 Therrien Waddell participated in the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life for Southern Montgomery County Region at the Montgomery College campus in Rockville. The event started at 2:00pm on Saturday and continued throughout the night. Several of Therrien Waddell’s adventourous employees chose to camp out over night while others arrived for various shifts. The employees loved giving their time and energy to such a great cause. The event rasied a total of $169,515.66, with record high participation, boasting seventy four teams and six hundred ninety two participants. Therrien Waddell’s team raised approximately $3,000.00 and placed fourth for corporate sponsors. This was the first year that Therrien Waddell participated in Relay for Life and it was a huge success. We can’t wait for next year!
