Therrien Waddell, Inc. has extensive knowledge and experience in green building systems and installations. Our ability to identify and help clients choose the most cost-effective strategies to implement the owner's sustainability goals for their projects is a key reason to get the contractor's early involvement in the project design process. We help the project team efficiently move through the planning process by bringing our experience and delivering value for our clients. We create lessons learned from strategies that worked well and constantly review how to improve the process for future activities and projects. Therrien Waddell completed one of the first green roof buildings in Montgomery County at the Crystal Rock Office Building in Germantown, Maryland.
Many of our team members are LEED AP, LEED GA, or Green Advantage certified. We support and are active leaders in local industry trade associations. We are one of the initial founding members of the UCGBC NCR Montgomery County Branch as well as the NAIOP Maryland Sustainability Committee. This involvement has placed Therrien Waddell as one of the recognized leaders in our market. We deliver industry training and leadership to move green and sustainability-orientated projects into mainstream construction.
